Debra Messing And Will Chase Break Up After Nearly Three Years Of Dating
Debra Messing and Will Chase have broken up. A rep for the actress confirms the couple have split after nearly three years of dating.
As Gossip Cop reported, the former co-stars began dating in 2011, after meeting on the set of the now-canceled “Smash.” The relationship was reported just one week after it was announced that Messing and her husband of 10 years, Daniel Zelman, were divorcing.
At the time Messing’s marriage ended, she and Zelman were still living under the same roof with their son Roman. As for Chase, a father to two daughters, he had recently separated from his own wife.
As time passed, Messing and Chase went more public with their relationship, attending events together and posing on red carpets. They were also still tweeting each other as recently as earlier this month, suggesting the breakup is pretty new.
Messing and Chase both spend most of their time these days on television sets. The former “Will & Grace” star’s new NBC series, “The Mysteries of Laura,” premiered in September. Chase, meanwhile, was upgraded to regular status on ABC’s “Nashville” for season three, after debuting on the show last year.
