Chris Brown Sues Woman Who Accused Him Of Hurting Her Outside Club
Chris Brown is countersuing Deanna Gines, the woman who claims Brown pushed her to the ground outside a California club last June. Gines has alleged that she injured her knee when Brown supposedly assaulted her near Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, an accusation that the performer has vehemently denied since the beginning. Eyewitnesses and the club owner have supported Brown’s version of events.
Now his attorney Mark Geragos has filed a countersuit against Gines. Brown’s camp argues that the star never had any contact with Gines, and that she faked her supposed injury. Furthermore, she is alleged to have been extremely intoxicated and belligerent throughout the night in question. The countersuit portrays her as an opportunist hoping to use Brown’s presence at the same club as a cash grab. Gossip Cop will have updates.
It’s true that Brown has done a number of questionable things over the years; some things he’s already paid for and other things he might have to down the road, but Gossip Cop looked into this story, and our sources back up the singer’s account. We checked with individuals who were with him and who swear up and down Brown did nothing wrong. Additionally, we checked in with the club and were also told Brown did not push Gines to the ground. Stay tuned for what the court decides.
