Dean McDermott EXPLODES On Twitter: Rants “I’m Done With This Sh*t” And Tells Haters To “Go F*ck Yourselves!”
Dean McDermott has seemingly quit Twitter after getting fed up with the backlash against him over cheating on wife Tori Spelling. On Tuesday, he exploded in an expletive-laden rant in which he actually challenged one hater to a fight.
In recent days, McDermott has faced off with random people on the social networking site, hitting back at those who have attacked his character in the wake of his infidelity. For instance, after one person tweeted, “LMAO! Fame whore @Tori_Spelling TRASHtagging her way thru life, incl DUMB decision to have kids w/douche @imdeanmcdermott,” the actor wrote back, “Noticed u didn’t post a pic of urself on your profile there cupcake. Can you say coward?” And that was one of the kinder exchanges.
But a much fiery incident took place Tuesday night, shortly before a new episode of “True Tori,” the reality series that documents his ongoing marital issues with Spelling. It began after photos emerged of McDermott leaving a sex shop with a purchase in hand. A Twitter user called him out, writing, “Wife is laid up in the hospital & you have time to go to a Adult Store. When they called you a Scumbag, That’s being nice.”
McDermott angrily fired back, “I bought a gag gift to make her laugh. All you haters need to F*CK OFF!! I’ve had it with you a**holes. GO F*CK YOURSELVES.” When the same person called the “Chopped Canada” host’s explanation “bullsh*t,” McDermott exclaimed, “Who the F*CK do you think you are? Any time any place pal. You hide behind your bullsh*t twitter name. Show urself pr*ck.”
The user then replied, “Lol, Instead of worrying about the pr*ck behind the ‘Twitter’ Worry about the Pr*ck in the mirror,” prompting McDermott to write back, “That’s lame you f*cking coward.” McDermott then tweeted, “I’m done with this social media sh*t. To all my fans, you’re the best. Love you guys. Always will. To all the haters, you know how I feel.”
McDermott’s rant came just a few days after he complained about his tarnished reputation in an interview with “ET Canada.” As Gossip Cop reported, he told the outlet, “You know, when you’re at the checkout and you look over and you see one of these magazines and it’s like, ‘Dean McDermott’s a monster,’ and I’m like, ‘No, I’m not a monster, I’m a human being and I messed up.” McDermott went on, “I messed up and I’m owning up to it and I’m getting help. But to label me a monster or evil is very hurtful.”
Spelling, meanwhile, remains hospitalized as she battles what McDermott has said is “bronchitis, sinusitis and pneumonia.” McDermott himself was hospitalized earlier this year after threatening to kill himself in the wake of his cheating scandal. He and Spelling have been in therapy together, sessions of which are often featured on “True Tori.”
