David Letterman And Jay Leno NOT Working On Antique Car Reality Show, Despite Report
According to the National Enquirer, Letterman and Leno’s love of vintage cars has squashed their feud, and the two veteran late-night talk show hosts are now teaming up for a new reality show called “Antique Car Show.” A supposed “insider” tells the tabloid that the show will be similar to “Antique Roadshow,” and will center around Letterman and Leno driving around in vintage classic cars, as they talk about their love for older vehicles. The magazine’s so-called “insider,” however, didn’t have any other information about the supposed show, such as when it will premiere and on what channel it will air on. That’s because the entire story is not true. Letterman and Leno are not doing a reality series together.
It should be noted that the Enquirer is the same tabloid Gossip Cop has busted numerous times for fabricating stories about Letterman. A few months ago, Gossip Cop corrected the magazine for falsely reporting he was leaving his wife, Regina Lasko, after his run on “The Late Show.” Gossip Cop also busted the Enquirer for manufacturing an inaccurate claim that Letterman had asked his “Late Show” staffers to pay for his farewell party.
Those stories all turned out to be bogus, and Gossip Cop can exclusively report that the Enquirer’s latest tale about Letterman and Leno making a reality TV show together is similarly wrong. A source close to Letterman tells Gossip Cop the report is “not true” and that “reality TV is not in Dave’s future.”
