Opening the third night of The Craziest Week in the History of Late Night TV with a bang, David Letterman raked NBC executives over the coals, calling them “pinheads,” “mouth breathers,” and “twits,” and remembering a time during his own tenure at the network when he uninvited one of them from an anniversary party, explaining, “When you’re this dumb, there’s a price that comes with that.”
