David Beckham Set to Stay in Hollywood

David Beckham is set to stay in Hollywood.

The international soccer superstar has turned down French club Paris Saint-Germain and seems likely to finalize a new deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy, with whom he’s spent the past five seasons.

When his current contract expired, several teams back in Europe attempted to win Beckham’s services.

Ultimately, though, he opted to keep his family – including new daughter Harper Seven – in America, where he and wife Victoria Beckham moved in 2007.

“David Beckham is not coming,” Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi said on Tuesday. “We feel a little disappointed. But both sides agreed it would be better that we not do the deal.”

He added, “Beckham is (with) Los Angeles. And he’s going to stay there.”

Beckham is now expected to re-sign with the Galaxy in the coming days.
