David Beckham Sues In Touch in L.A.

True to his word, David Beckham has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against In Touch magazine over a cover story in which the tabloid alleged the soccer great had slept with a $10,000-a-night hooker.

Gossip Cop was first outlet to report the lawsuit was going to be filed.

According to our impeccable sources, In Touch was warned prior to publication that the allegations were not true, but ignored the denials.

And so now the weekly’s parent company, Bauer Publishing, has been accused in court papers of libel, slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Also named in the lawsuit is Irma Nici, the prostitute who claimed she had five paid sexual encounters with Beckham in 2007, including one in which another hooker was involved.

More lawsuits are slated to be filed against Bauer Publishing in different countries, including Germany, where the company is headquartered.

    I think that he is justified in doing so. The tabloid went too far with this allegation. If things like that are not true, then they should be sued. All celebs should join forces and sue of anything that they have proven negligent in printing the truth. I guess that they took this woman’s word. They just print anything that they think will make them money. I don’t understand why they would print something like this. It’s too defaming. Not every man wants to be out there with that type of woman. I don’t care what they say these women are worth, they still can spread diseases.

    I am glad with that. Somebody had to put the plug to the all garbage that these tabloids publish. I hope the same thing for Ok Mag, Star Mag, NE Mag and Globe.
