David Beckham NOT Against Cruz Pursuing Music Career, Despite Report
David Beckham is NOT against Cruz pursuing a career in music, despite a new inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
According to Star, ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is hoping to turn her youngest son, Cruz, into “pop’s next It Boy,” despite “her husband’s objections.” A supposed “family insider” tells the tabloid, “Posh is going full speed ahead with the plan and flooding her social media with videos of her 11-year old singing and dancing,” but David wants her to “pump the breaks” on the youngster’s music career. “He doesn’t want his son to go down the same rocky path as Justin Bieber, which is what happens when you find fame too young,” contends the magazine’s supposed insider, adding, “He should be focused on fifth grade, not a record deal.”
A source close to the Beckhams exclusively assures Gossip Cop the report is “nonsense.” We’re told David is certainly not against Cruz pursuing a career in music. In fact, the former soccer superstar has spent the last two days posting videos across social media in support of his son’s new single, “If Every Day Was Christmas.” Among the posts was a picture on Instagram of his son at a British radio station, with the caption, “So proud of my little man @CruzBeckham!”
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by Star’s fabricated report. Only days ago, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely alleging David and Victoria Beckham had split. Much like that bogus story, this latest claim is equally ridiculous.
