David Beckham and Son Brooklyn Involved In Car Accident
David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were involved in a car accident on Saturday. They appear to have escaped serious injury. The incident occurred as the soccer legend was picking up his teenage son after Brooklyn played a youth match in Hertfordshire, England.
The older Beckham was driving an Audi at the time of the crash. Reports from the scene have not indicated whether a second vehicle or additional people were involved. The Telegraph quotes a source close to Beckham as saying, “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.” The exact circumstances of the accident have not been disclosed.
One alleged eyewitness tweeted that the older Beckham was clutching his shoulder at one point after the collision, but no injuries to him or Brooklyn have been confirmed. According to reports, staffers from the soccer club Arsenal, who train in the location, ushered bystanders away from the scene to limit photographs of the crash.
Another young soccer player tweeted, “Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car.” Gossip Cop will have updates on the situation.
