David Arquette Refused Pain Medication After Crash Out of Sobriety Concern

David Arquette, who was in a head-on car crash yesterday, isn’t taking any medications because the recently rehabbed star is concerned about staying clean.

After the hurt star was taken to the hospital, he tweeted, “Refused all pain medication – may the record state – still sober!”

As Gossip Cop reported, Arquette was en route to the airport to head to Vegas for the opening of a restaurant, The Sugar Factory, when his Cadillac collided with another car.

The actor is doing fine, but noted, “It was a miracle the woman I hit was uninjured – Thank God.”

Yes, fortunately everyone is all right.

    AWW! Good for him for refusing the pain medicine. You can tell that he is taking this staying sober thing really seriously! It is a shame that he has to suffer or go back to suffering a life of addiction. He certainly has his priorities inline thinking about staying sober and having concern for the other women!     Good job David, I know that was tough but very, very strong choice! You should be so proud of yourself and a little extra pain while yo recover is well worth living a fulfilling life finally free of addiction. Way to get your priorities straight and way to do the right thing even when it isn’t too easy! Feel better and keep up the good work with staying clean.
