David Arquette Has Bar Mitzvah in Israel

David Arquette is officially a man — according to Jewish law.
On Monday, the Scream star had his very belated bar mitzvah at the Western Wall, one of the holiest sites in Israel.
Arquette tweeted, “I had my Bar Mitzvah today at the wall. Finally I’m a man.”
The actor’s mother is Jewish, but he was raised on a religious commune in Virginia that embraced several religions.
He’s been in Israel for the past few days filming the travel show “Trippin.”
Arquette told the Jewish Journal in 2010, “I wanted a bar mitzvah but didn’t have one as a kid… I still may get one – maybe for my 40th birthday.”
