Dannielynn Birkhead Models for Guess, Like Late Mom Anna Nicole Smith (PICS)

Dannielynn Birkhead is following in her mom’s footsteps.

Twenty years after the late Anna Nicole Smith modeled for Guess, her six-year-old daughter is making her modeling debut for Guess Kids.

The shots, taken in Malibu, are part of the brand’s Spring 2013 campaign.

In a statement, Guess creative director Paul Marciano said that Birkhead shared the “same playful spirit” as her mother.

    She is a beautiful little girl, but I thought her father would have kept her out of the spotlight for as long as he could. She is a child, so let her be one. We have all seen the effect that Hollywood has on child stars, I don’t understand why her father would want her to follow in her Mothers footsteps considering her Mothers tragic life and death. I had always respected her father for keeping her out of the spotlight since her Mothers death but it seems I gave him credit to soon. Don’t take her childhood away from her!

    How is modelling childrens’ clothes taking her childhood away from her……….she is a little girl modelling childrens clothes, who is gonna model them a grownup……I see Tom Cruise’s little girl prancing around in heels and lipstick and not a peep about taking away her childhood, sometimes you see her and you wonder if she is a re-incarnate of someone else……..praise the Lord the dad doan have to survive on the credit you gave him because you just pulled it out from under him like a beat up dirty rug…

    She is lucky that she ended up with her bilogical father , not that lawyer who wanted her for her motherr’s mpney. She would be cared for by a sitter or in a boarding school. He would have figured out that she doesn’t look like him- Stern was his name or something?

    It is a fairy tale that she was loved at the end of her life- already sick and hazed. I give credit to that young fellow. He loved Nicole and what could be best if not a child with a person he was passionate about? He is a proud father.Maye her life be better then her mother’s.

    I think it depends on where it goes from here. Things tend to go bad when money and chilldren are involved. Suri may be running around in heels but her parent’s aren’t collecting a paycheck from her love of dressing up. If this is just a one time thing it might not be a big deal. If he starts putting her out there constantly just to make $$ it could be a different story.

    Yes. she is a beautiful little girl. And she should be left alone and allowed to be just that. Her own girl– not set up to project (and live up to being) the pint-sized image of her mother. This is only the beginning of the exploitation. I will pray for the child.
