Django Unchained Star Daniele Watts Charged With Lewd Conduct For Sex In Car
Daniele Watts, the Django Unchained actress who claimed last month racist police officers arrested her in L.A. for making out with her white boyfriend in a car, has now been formally slapped with a charge of lewd conduct.
Watts could be heard on an audio tape that was made public crying to her dad on the phone that she was being treated like a “criminal” for doing nothing wrong. The actress, who’s appeared on “How I Met Your Mother” and “Weeds,” even posted on Facebook afterwards that she and boyfriend Brian James Lucas were simply “showing affection, fully clothed, in a public place.”
But that’s not exactly the case. Watts was charged on Tuesday for doing far more than simply kissing Lucas outside the CBS studios in Studio City. Multiples witnesses spotted Watts, with her breasts fully exposed, having sex in their Mercedes in broad daylight.
Despite Watts’ protestations that nothing untoward was going on, the accounts from eyewitnesses, some of whom had photos of the two having sex with their car door open, was enough for cops to have her charged with lewd conduct.
Lucas was charged as well. If convicted, they each could face up to six months in L.A. County Jail.
As you’ll recall, back in mid-September, Watts became hysterical when she was handcuffed. She went on to accuse the arresting officer of being racist, and lamented about what’s happened to the country that used to be “the home of the free.”
It’s still free. Just people, even movie stars, aren’t free to have sex in public.
