Daniel Radcliffe Wedding At ‘Harry Potter’ Hogwarts Castle?
Daniel Radcliffe and girlfriend Erin Darke are NOT having their supposed wedding at Alnwick Castle, the location used for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter series, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the National Enquirer, the actor is planning to get married in Northumberland, England at the same castle that was used to portray the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in his iconic franchise. The magazine’s story gets even more ridiculous when it goes on to claim Radcliffe will pay tribute to Harry Potter by throwing a “Hogwarts-style wedding,” quoting a so-called “source” as saying, “They’ve been trying to keep their marriage plans a secret, but Dan’s bursting with excitement.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Radcliffe, who exclusively assures us the actor and his girlfriend aren’t having a wedding at “Hogwarts.” Despite the tabloid’s seeming inability to separate Radcliffe from his movie character, we’re told the story is simply “not true.”
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised the outlet got the report wrong. Gossip Cop previously busted the Enquirer for alleging Radcliffe relapsed on drugs and alcohol, despite the actor having been open about his strong recovery and sobriety. This latest claim about a supposed Harry Potter-themed “Hogwarts” wedding is equally untrue.
