Daniel Radcliffe to Star in Dark Fantasy-Thriller Horns

Daniel Radcliffe will star in Horns, a supernatural fantasy-thriller based on the bestselling book by Joe Hill.

The onetime Harry Potter will portray Ig Perrish, who wakes up suspected of raping and murdering his girlfriend — and with mysterious horns growing from his head.

The horns bestow Perrish with dark powers, including the ability to make people confess their sins and indulge their ugliest desires.

Shooting is expected to begin in the fall.

Radcliffe’s post-Potter horror film The Woman in Black was a box office success in theaters last February.

    Woman in Black was really lame (not scary at all BTW) and it looks like he can’t get out of fantasy/horror stuff. How many more?

    Sorry but he has done other work that is non fantasy/horror stuff. I thought the woman in black was a fun watch although I agree it was not scary. I think this is more of a thriller type movie more then horror and of course being make believe its going to be considered fantasy. This will only be his second horror type movie two works he filmed earlier this year were a drama/biography/romance/thriller and a comedy/drama and he has also done some comdey work as well, so i don’t think he is stuck in the fantasy horror stuff..Either way I think he will be ok he seems to mix it up a lot.

    Daniel Radcliffe is a very talented guy, Im a huge fan and Im totally sure that he will be doing some greats things in the future. This its just the begining of it. The Woman in Black was ok but this one seems really good. Lets hope it will be.

    Of course he would do more Horror/Fantasy people loved Harry Potter so when they have their own horror/ suspense/ fantasy movie they already think of Daniel Radcliffe being perfect for the job and all he do is just accept it.

    the plot looks really interesting and intriguing.. with Daniel of without him i would like to see it.. but with him is definitely better:)

    I agree Sam Rockwell is the man. That said Ig is a 20 year old and Sam though a great actor is closer to 50.
