Dane Cook Show Next Caller Dropped Before It Airs

Dane Cook’s upcoming show “Next Caller” has been dropped by NBC before airing.
The comedian starred as a loud-mouthed satellite radio host in the sitcom, which had already filmed four episodes after being picked up last May and slated for this midseason.
But the sitcom will not join the schedule as planned.

According to reports, network executives did not believe the project was heading in the right creative direction.
Cook joked about the cancellation on Twitter, writing, “Loved my cast & crew (not sure of their names.. didn’t have time to learn them) but will never forget my 37 hours working on Next Brawler.”
