The much anticipated new season of “Dancing With the Stars” premiered last night and, as always, there were those who busted a move and those whose performances were just, well… busted.

Karate Kid Ralph Macchio was the obvious standout of the evening – judges said his foxtrot to “Kick in the Head” was the best of the night.

Kirstie Alley surprised judges with the energy of her moves and wowed audience members with her cha-cha to Cee Lo Green‘s “Forget You.” Judge Bruno Tonioli told her he was looking forward to seeing what she’ll do this season, saying, “I feel like we’re just scratching the surface.”

Kendra Wilkinson won the crowd over with her charm, but judges said her moves were a bit lacking. Nevertheless, the feisty reality star was confident, saying, “I’ve got moves for a white girl.”

Alas, not everyone shined on the dance floor.

Radio personality Mike Catherwood‘s routine was not so pretty. Tonioli told Catherwood, ”You looked like you were constipated,” and he earned the lowest scoring of the night.

Wendy Williams‘ performance was also a bit of a bust, earning her the second lowest score.

Elimination begins next Tuesday.
