Bristol Palin’s Ex-Fiance Dakota Meyer Confirms He’s Father Of Baby Sailor, Seeks Custody
Bristol Palin’s ex-fiance Dakota Meyer not only confirmed he’s the father of her newborn baby girl Sailor, but on Tuesday the highly decorated U.S. Marine filed legal documents seeking joint custody of the 3-week-old, as well as child support.
As Gossip Cop reported, Palin gave birth to her daughter in late December, and shared the news with an Instagram photo in which she’s cradled her newborn. “My sweet Sailor Grace was born yesterday, our family couldn’t be more complete,” Palin captioned the picture.
Last May, Palin and Meyer called off their wedding just days before they were supposed to exchange vows. Shortly after, she announced in June she was pregnant, but did not reveal the identity of the father, though it was widely assumed to be Meyer. Palin wrote at the time, “I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you,” in regards to her having another child out of wedlock. Palin is also mom to 7-year-old Tripp, whom she conceived with ex-fiance Levi Johnston.
Palin, who is very active on social media, has yet to comment on Meyer’s court filing for joint legal and physical custody of baby Sailor.
