Craig Ferguson Near Deal For New Show — But NOT In Late Night
Craig Ferguson is reportedly finalizing a deal for a new talk show.
The current host of “The Late Late Show” on CBS announced back in April that he’d be departing at the end of this year after a decade.
Now, according to multiple reports, Ferguson is in advanced talks for a syndicated show on Tribune-owned stations across the country.
Interestingly, the new show would run in the 7 p.m. hour — not late night — although the format is expected to be somewhat similar to Ferguson’s current program.
No deal has been confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, James Corden is reportedly replacing Ferguson at “The Late Late Show.”
