Craig Ferguson is leaving the “Late Late Show.”

On Monday, the talk show host announced to his studio audience that he’ll step down in December.

Ferguson said after the end of the year, “I’ll go and do something else, probably, I’m thinking, carpentry, but I haven’t made my mind up yet.”

“I don’t know what I’m going to do yet but I feel doing this show for 10 years, that’s enough,” he added.

Ferguson’s contract ends in 2015.

In a statement, Ferguson jokingly said, “CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are ‘consciously uncoupling,’ but we will still spend holidays together and share custody of the fake horse and robot skeleton, both of whom we love very much.”

Earlier this month, David Letterman announced his retirement.

No replacement for Ferguson has been announced.
