Not even a downpour could wash the stench of desperation from the National Enquirer‘s coverage of former “Bachelor” Jason Mesnick‘s wedding to Molly Malaney.

The tab claims the rainy ceremony in Rancho Palos Verdes, California was a “fiasco” and “nightmare.” The bride begged producers of the wedding’s two-hour ABC special to delay until after the rain, but was told “the show must go on,” according to a “guest.”

“Those damn producers ruined my wedding!” a “devastated” Malaney supposedly “sobbed.” “I’ll never get married on TV again!”

The Enquirer‘s take on the nuptials is all very interesting… and wrong.

OK! magazine actually spoke with Malaney, who had this to say of the less than ideal weather: “The rain didn’t ruin my dream wedding at all! I loved every minute of it.”

What about the TV producers who the Enquirer claims made everything nightmarish?

“Honestly, I didn’t even notice the TV stuff,” says Malaney. “For me, it was just a normal, fantastic wedding.” And when asked whether she has any regrets about having it televised, contrary to the Enquirer‘s report, the happy bride responds, “Absolutely not.”

While Gossip Cop is sure Malaney and Mesnick would have preferred a dry, sunny day, it looks like the only “fiasco” here is the Enquirer‘s reporting.

So says the twit that married the douche who humiliated another twit on national TV. And it is funny that you say you believe OK over National Enquirer when OK is also on your surveillance list. Considering how fake the Bachelor show is, the show probably planted the Enquirer story so they could deny it in OK that way they get double the publicity for the TV broadcast of the wedding. Actually with you calling them out, you just gave that lame ass show triple the publicity.
