In what may be the least surprising and most controversial “Bachelor” outcome, Courtney Robertson took home the final rose and Ben Flajnik’s heart on Monday night’s finale.

But before he could propose to Robertson, Flajnik had to let down Lindzi Cox.

Cox handles the rejection gracefully, and even tells him to call her if it doesn’t work out with Robertson.

Once that’s out of the way, Flajnik gets down on one knee and proposes to Robertson, who happily accepts.

She tells him, “I will love you forever,” and Flajnik promises to do the same in return

However, after a preview from the “After the Final Rose” special, we know the couple has already broken up once.
