‘Glee’ Stars Pay Tribute To Cory Monteith On Second Anniversary Of Death
“Glee” stars are paying tribute Monday to Cory Monteith on the second anniversary of his death. As Gossip Cop noted earlier Monday, the Twitter hashtag “#2YearsWithoutCory” has been trending and Monteith’s girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele kicked off the tributes, tweeting, “Today we remember the laughter and joy you brought into our lives every day. We think of you always and love you so.” Shortly after her post, other “Glee” alums posted touching messages about the late actor, as well.
Mark Salling shared a collage of Monteith, tweeting, “What I would do to have you back bro.” Dot-Marie Jones, noted on Twitter, “2 YEARS TODAY STILL DOESNT SEEM REAL! MISS THAT MAN/BOY SO MUCH! LOVE YOU COR.”
Harry Shum Jr. took to Instagram to share two short videos of Monteith, writing, “Miss these fun random memories with him” and “that one time I gave him my iPhone on stage for our last concert.” Kevin McHale posted to Instagram a picture of Monteith sitting on a private plane and wrote, “This goofball… I can’t comprehend it’s already been 2 years, when it sometimes feels like I saw you just yesterday. Miss you every damn day.” And Jenna Ushkowitz also shared an Instagram photo of the late actor and captioned it, “Miss ya, buddy.” As Gossip Cop previously reported, Monteith died on July 13, 2013 at the age of 31 from an accidental drug overdose after mixing heroine and alcohol.
