BREAKING!
Joe Jackson is suing Dr. Conrad Murray and the two clinics where he worked, Acres Home Heart & Vascular Associates and GCA Holdings, for the wrongful death of Michael Jackson, according to a report.
The defendants are alleged to have attempted to “conceal the multi-state supply of drugs and the use of their facilities in Texas and Nevada to obtain medications,” representing an “extreme departure from the standard of care,” claims documents obtained by TMZ.
The site reports that two women from Acres (Murray’s Houston clinic), sisters LaQuanda Price and LaQuisha Middleton, allegedly retrieved boxes from the doctor’s storage facility the morning of Jackson’s death. The claim comes from the facility’s manager.
Price tells TMZ she was there to take a bio-hazardous box, while Middleton says she was there to retrieve a chair.
The wrongful death lawsuit also alleges that the clinics were negligent in Dr. Murray’s training, including the administration of Propofol — the medication at the center of the case.
Joe Jackson’s legal team has painted a picture of Murray as irresponsible and reckless in his care of Michael Jackson.
