Conrad Hilton was released on $90,000 bail from the Los Angeles County Jail on Wednesday after agreeing to be hospitalized for a mental evaluation. The 23-year-old hotel heir acted erratically during his arraignment, seemingly mouthing expletives at various people in the courtroom. Watch the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Hilton was arrested on Saturday for stealing a car and violating a restraining order by his ex-girlfriend, Hunter Daily Salomon. Video emerged of Hilton screaming homophobic slurs at the police after they cuffed him for trying to break into the Hollywood Hills home of Salomon’s mother, E.G. Daily. Prior to that, he allegedly went to the home of his ex’s father, Rick Salomon, and took his Bentley without permission.

Hilton was charged with felony auto theft and two misdemeanor counts of violating a restraining order. On Tuesday, he was hit with an additional charge for contempt of court because he reportedly refused to leave his jail cell to be arraigned. During his hearing on Wednesday, the judge agreed to release Hilton to the custody of his father, Rick Hilton, under the condition he subsequently be admitted to the Menninger psychiatric hospital in Houston.

Per the advice of his lawyer, Robert Shapiro, Hilton waived his right to enter a plea on Wednesday and will instead be arraigned again in late June. In addition to being hospitalized, he must also strictly obey Salomon’s protective order against him. In court footage obtained by TMZ, Hilton can be seen shaking his head and laughing as the judge reads the terms of his bail. He also appears to be mouthing profane insults at individuals off-camera.

At the end of the arraignment, the judge tells Hilton he’ll wind up back in custody if he violates any of the terms of his release, to which he replies, “I will never your honor. I’m sorry for disrespecting this entire court room and this entire state. I am not obsessed with hookers and I’m sorry.” Watch the video below.
