Connie Britton Adopts Baby Boy!

Connie Britton is a mom!

The former “Friday Night Lights” star adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia, a rep for the actress confirms.

After a three-year adoption process, Britton took home 9-month-old Yoby (nickname for his given name of Eyob) from the African country last week.

The actress told People of the first time holding her new baby: “It was such a wonderful moment of completion. I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear.”

    Connie Britton is on a great FX series-American Horror. And why does it take 3years+ for her and the public, but Brangelina and other BIGGER’ stars do not have this waiting time?

    A more poignant question is,” Why do all of these celebrities have to go to Ethiopia, Cambodia, Malawi or some foreign country when there plenty of children who need families and a home right here in the U.S.of A.?” The constant funneling off of American jobs and money includes the supporting of foreign countries orphanages and adoption services. It’s about time for Americans to start worrying more about their country’s woes and needs and less about everyone else’s because the foreign country’s and there people sure aren’t worrying about us.
