CONFIRMED: Robert Pattinson Not Just Acting in Upcoming “Remember Me”

A quick (non-”Twilight,” non-Robsten) Robert Pattinson confirmation to answer a question we received many times today.

For those who haven’t heard, or those who had heard but weren’t sure it was accurate: Yes, Pattinson is an executive producer of his upcoming film, “Remember Me,” a source with the production confirms to Gossip Cop.

We look forward to tabloids confusedly putting out cover stories naming Pattinson the director, boom operator, and caterer on a sequel to “Remember The Titans.”

    Pattinson really seems to have a good head on his shoulders (although really, where else would it go…) and excellent business sense. I also like that he’s more interested in his craft, being an actor, than in celebrity/stardom, and seems to be selecting his roles carefully — it would be so easy to get typecast after such a franchise as The Twilight Saga. What I don’t like is people saying things like “he’s the next Johnny Depp” or “he’s the next James Dean”…. can’t he just be Robert Pattinson, with his own style and his own career?

    Kudos to GossipCop… and thank you for appearing on The View, I wasn’t aware that this site was out here until I saw that episode. Excellent work!

    I didn’t know that Robert has already put his foot in the door of the movie business. An executive producer, very impressive :)
    NOW, I really can’t wait for ‘Remember Me’ to come out :)
