Now and then even a blind squirrel finds a nut, so it is possible that blissfully clueless Perez Hilton will stumble into correct casting news one day.

Today is not that day.

According to the blogger, Colin Farrell will take the role of Ozzy Osbourne in the legendary rocker’s upcoming biopic.

The actor “has reportedly signed on” to the project, claims Hilton, who adds, “The more we think about it, the more we think that he’ll nail it!”

Actually, if Hilton had put any thought — or work — into the story, he’d know that it’s complete nonsense.

The rumor is “not true,” a rep for Farrell tells Gossip Cop.
