Clint Eastwood has officially endorsed Mitt Romney.

“He just made my day,” said Romney, referring to one of Eastwood’s famous lines as his Dirty Harry character.

The event drew about 325 people, who paid as much as $25,000 to attend.

It’s not known whether Eastwood will join Romney on the campaign trail.

  • Tam Tam

Now I’m even more convinced that Clint is in the early stages of dementia…so sad.

  • alexstorm

  • Naz

Ugh, I liked Clint Eastwood before this.

  • Gj

OF COURSE HE SUPPORTS MIT. HE RAISED A DUMB ASS DAUGHTER WHO BURNS $100,000 PURSES FOR THE FUN OF IT. I WLL NEVER WATCH ANYTHING THAT CHIC IS LINKED TO. SHE COULD HAVE AUCTION THE PURSE AND FED THE POOR.

  • Hammie

Who cares? Clint E. is old and probably does know his left from his right.

  • Hardworking-American

Good for Clint, Obama is ruining our country

  • jojo

Now I know I will watch all his movies even more. The guy has class, not dementia

  • Richpeopleopinions

Eh, his opinions means nothing, he’s privileged. “RICH” people need Mitt. Under privileged people like me, not so much.

  • Claire

Obama took office at one of the worse times in U.S. history…however his platform focused on job creation and the fixing the economy. Both situations remain horrific. Over 6 million people are unemployed and the economy is a disaster. Clint Eastwood is a rich man and wants change; what about the rest of us??

  • gandalf the grey

i think it’s funny how the righties pee their panties about “liberals” and their hollywood endorsements… “who cares what george clooney thinks, he’s JUST an actor!” “Matt Damon is JUST an actor!!”

and then when someone comes out on “their” side, the guy is a prince and wonderful and awesome and smart, etc.

And he thinks that boost will come from a robot? Aw, Clint. Say it isn’t so?

  • patty

Of course he would! Hes rich! And all Republicans are for the rich! Go OBAMA! STANDS FOR THE OIOR

  • patty

I Meant POOR! NOT RICH CORPORATE GREED!! GO OBABA!!

  • Anonymous

Then I am even more impressed to see that even someone with dementia can tell Obama isn’t right for this country.

Better to burn purses you own rather than burning through everyone else’s money and credit cards I Say.

  • Anonymous

Well most of Hollywood has backed up Obama if you want to talk about rich. And Romney has not funded $40,000 plates for fundraising. I think your ideas area a little backwards there.

  • Anonymous

Think you exaggerated that just a bit there.

  • Anonymous

Actually on normal the dems are far richer than the republicans AND raise more money for fundraising. (exmaple: Kerry vs. Bush) – each ONE of them had more money than Bush AND Chenney combined. This is usually the norm. But if you want to keep eating up what the media says, you are more than welcome to stay in that ignorant bubble.

  • Can’t Afford to Judge Enquirer

correction: Probably DOESN”T know his left from his right.

  • Phweston0269

    Politics as usual.

  • Centrally Located Independent

bullshit. Try to actually look something up before you post and then you won’t look as stupid. Those identifying as republican are demographically older and more affluent than those identifying as democrat. As far as the fundraising dollars? 2005 Kerry raised about 50 million LESS than bush. As far as the candidates themselves, Ross Perot was the wealthiest, next was Steve Forbes, then Mitt Romney, then kerry, GOre, the clintons and then back to republicans Hunstman & Guiliani… THEN Edwards,,, and then back to republicans McCain, Johnson, & GHWB.

So it looks like the norm is uber wealthy republicans outnumber uber wealthy democrats. OOOPS on your part.

  • javi

is this news? every senior citizen is a republican and endorses every other old republican

  • Sue

UGH! Go ahead Clint DON’T make my day!!! Disappointing!!!! Is he really blaming Obama for this mess we are in? Obama is still cleaning from 8 years of disaster with Bush!!!

  • Anonymous

That makes me lose some respect for him, but he’s entitled to support whoever he wants. Plus he’s old and this doesn’t detract from the films he’s made.

  • Tam Tam

Do you know how stupid you sound? Who do you think believes the shit you are trying to past? Try again!

  • Tam Tam

Elect Mitt is like electing a Robot. The uber rich are running his campaign and screwing the middle class into the ground. Mitt went over to London and made a complete ass of himself, then he goes on a tour for foregin affairs and makes a even bigger ass if himself. How can this man run the country? He doesn’t know what to say and when to say it, he always talks out the side of his damn neck. Thank GOD he is not the President of the US.

Clint has lost is fire anything he says now just doesn’t add up. For the record someone with dementia, doesn’t think clearly why would you take his opinion into account?

  • Randomperson

Obama is a terrible president! Running the USA into the ground, I say we vote Romney, if we don’t like him, we vote again in four years! Better than having Obamacare, Illegals here for free, and black and women unemployment rates down, we need jobs! People need to realize that OBAMA IS THE PROBLEM! Does no one watch politics of tv! It’s very clear that Obama is the wrong choice! Look at America now! Do yu want life to get worse!?

  • Nicety

How has Obama ruined our country worse than say any other president.People kill me saying this but refuse to state the real facts.Everything he does that could possibly turn the situation around who fights him on it…..(Jeopardy music playing) times up, I will take who are republicans and the house for the win Alex. There is enough blame to go around here it doesn’t all fall in Obama’s lap.No he hasn’t done everything right but he hasn’t done anything worse than the other presidents.Bush had 8 years 4 to screw it up and 4 to fix it but instead those whole 8 screwing it up.That is when the unemployment and real estate market began to nose dive.People act like they were living champagne wishes and caviar dreams before Obama took office. If you had it like that Obama is not your problem. If you had it like that then and don’t now Obama is not your problem high maintenance is. He took office in the middle of this crisis and people expect Jesus miracles from him but were ok letting the other presidents have eights years to screw the country and another president sending jobs overseas. My point is this country was not soaring before Obama took office and the trouble we are in falls on centuries of bad choices from the first president to the present one. From congress to the people “WE” send to represent us in our states. It takes and has taken more than one man to do the damage and it doesn’t matter who is put into office they will do their amount of damage because their is no such thing as a perfect president.

You said, “Does no one watch politics of tv! It’s very clear that Obama is the wrong choice! Look at America now!”

We do watch the news–not faux news!! So I would invite you to watch real news and that means leave your FOX NEWS alone for awhile!!!

  • alexstorm

Awesome comment Nicety I almost want to post it on Facebook!!!

  • Hahahah

    Smitt sucks

  • Guest

Couldn’t agree more! Clint, Clint, Clint….is it just your age, or did something else make you go off the road to a sane political choice? If you are saying Romney would be better than Obama, I’d say you are losing it somewhere.
