Cissy Houston: Bobbi Kristina Brown Is “Not Progressing At All”
Cissy Houston says that despite the treatment given to Bobbi Kristina Brown over the last couple of weeks, her condition remains unchanged. “[Bobbi Kristina] is the same. She’s not progressing at all,” the mother of the late Whitney Houston explains to “Entertainment Tonight.” She adds, “When I go there and look at her, [it’s] very difficult.”
Houston says Bobbi Kristina isn’t “gone yet,” but that she’s reconciled to the fact that her granddaughter could very likely die. “I have nothing to do with that,” says Houston, noting it’s “whatever the Lord decides… It’s His territory, and I understand it.” The family matriach acknowledges that it’s “very difficult for me. But I’ll make it. I made it through [Whitney,] I’ll make it.”
As Gossip Cop reported Friday, Bobbi Kristina’s family released a statement giving Bobby Brown and Pat Houston co-guardianship while she continues to fight for her life. Bobbi Kristina previously spent two months at Emory Hospital in Atlanta after she was found unconscious and face down in a bathtub in late January She was later transferred to a rehab center in March.
