Chyna Died Days Before Body Found, According To Police
Joanie “Chyna” Laurer was found dead in her Redondo Beach, California apartment on Wednesday night, but according to the Los Angeles Police Department, the former WWE wrestler died a “day or two” prior to her body being found.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Chyna’s cause of death has yet to be revealed, but police have ruled out foul play and have also revealed no suicide note was discovered at the scene. One of Chyna’s friends was reportedly the one to find her dead in her apartment. The former wrestler apparently had not been in contact with anyone since this past Sunday.
There were no illegal drugs found in Chyna’s apartment, but cops did uncover a few bottles of prescribed medication, none of which were empty. A few neighbors supposedly told law enforcement they suspected a drug overdose could be the cause of Chyna’s death because she recently appeared to be “under the influence.”
As Gossip Cop also reported, many celebrities reacted to Chyna’s death on Twitter earlier. Among the stars to mourn Chyna were fellow WWE stars Hulk Hogan and Triple H, as well as Alyssa Milano, Melissa Joan Hart, Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Robinson Peete, and Jerry O’Connell.
