Boxer Christy Martin Shot by Husband After Admitting Lesbian Affair

Last week, former boxing champion Christy Martin was shot and stabbed allegedly by her husband in their Apopka, Florida home. Miraculously, Martin managed to escape and was treated for wounds at a nearby hospital.

Yesterday, cops arrested Martin’s husband, James, after he stabbed himself behind their home.

Now, in police documents obtained by TMZ, it’s been revealed what supposedly set off the boxer’s husband.

According to statements made to the police, Martin told her husband that she was leaving him for another woman, and that she had been involved for some time in a lesbian affair.
