“Mad Men” Star Christina Hendricks’ Marriage On The Rocks?

Friends of “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks claim “her success has ruined her marriage to struggling actor Geoffrey Arend,” reports Star.

The magazine’s so-called “source” notes, “It wasn’t that long ago that he was the one with the promising acting career, not Christina.”

“Part of him resents that she has this huge gig,” explains the Star insider. “There aren’t many men who could put up with all the attention Christina gets.”

According to the tabloid, Hendricks and Arend’s marriage is “on the rocks!”

Actually — it’s not.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop, “They are super happy and supportive of one another,” describing Hendricks and Arend as still “very in love.”

Whoops.

    I remember once meeting Tate Donovan (he played Jimmy Cooper on the OC). He used to date Jennifer Aniston. He told me, “never date a woman more successful than you.” Apparently male actors don’t like it when their significant other has a better career. I guess it makes you feel like a bit of a kept man, and it’s not easy knowing that so many richer, more handsome, smarter, more intelligent, and more interesting men are interested in your gal. There’s a big fear that, hey, she might notice that fact and go for an upgrade!
