Christina Aguilera Will Return To “The Voice” For Season 10 (EXCLUSIVE)
Christina Aguilera is 100 percent returning to “The Voice” for season 10, Gossip Cop has exclusively learned. After it was announced on Wednesday that Gwen Stefani was rejoining the singing competition show for season 9, rumors online began to spread about Aguilera and her future involvement with the show. A rep for Aguilera tells Gossip Cop that the singer “doesn’t do back-to-back seasons,” but wouldn’t comment beyond that. Still, a “Voice” insider assures Gossip Cop that Aguilera is “confirmed” to return for season 10.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Stefani will be back for season 9 with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell, who’s now been a coach for the past three seasons and won the last one with 16-year-old Sawyer Fredericks. The new season premieres in September.
Only Levine and Shelton have done all eight seasons so far. Aguilera, as noted, has taken off during the odd numbered seasons, with Stefani and Shakira filling in for her. Our source also tells us Aguilera is “excited” to come back for the big tenth season of “The Voice.”
