Christina Aguilera May Quit The Voice?

Truth rating: 0

(HollywoodLife)

Christina Aguilera Quitting ‘The Voice’?” asks HollywoodLife, which always seems to have questions but rarely has accurate answers.

According to the webloid, the singer’s “cruel remarks & diva antics have turned everyone against her” on the music competition, which had its season finale on Tuesday.

Playing up on Aguilera’s disagreement with fellow coach Adam Levine over finalist Tony Lucca’s song choice, HollywoodLife cites a so-called “source” who says “the entire crew blames Christina for the argument.”

“’I’ll be surprised if she is here next year as a judge — and if she is, she will never win the show,” claims the supposed spy.

Wow.

So is Aguilera really “quitting The Voice”?

NO!

Gossip Cop is told exclusively by a source close to the show that “the new season starts pre-shooting in a few weeks, and Christina is excited to be there.”

Adds our rock-solid insider, “Last night was a great show. All the coaches had a blast.”

I love Christina’s talent but as a person I am not a fan. Please get a new stylist also.

No Way would she quit ‘The Voice’, That is her platform to insure being able to be seen by millions with her tits hanging out and walking around in no pants showing off her fat ass. She alone lost that compitition for her team with her bitchy comments.

The voice season two had too much drama in it, especially with Tony Lucca (i am not saying that he is the cause of the drama), maybe the next season will be better and MUCH funner, hope soo (crossed fingers).

If any of the coaches leave the voice, it wont be the same, really.

I’m getting to that same place with her. Love to watch/hear her sing, but I have been increasingly turned off by her behavior this season. Very unattractive. Cold and kind of bitchy at times. I thought she treated that one guy who was a Mouseketeer with her terribly! Threw him under the bus at every opportunity! If the producers had her doing this stuff for drama, they should knock it off. They are killing her with the fans.

There would be NO DRAMA from a lot of viewers if Christina was a man. She’s not supposed to kiss Tony’s ass just because they had a past. He was the weakest there.

If she doesn’t leave then I’m not watching anymore….I realize that’s not a big threat to the show but it is the way I feel. I’ve been a fan of her music but her rude behavior and her constant need to make everything all about her has been a total turn off. When a contestant has done an exceptional job I do not want to hear her compare herself to them or tell us what she did when she sang the same song.

Guest: I’d like to point out I’d feel the exact same way if one of the guys on the panel did and said the same thing…doesn’t make any difference to me if a man or woman said/did those things..it’s inapporpriate. She clearly was trying to discredit Tony from the start…my friends and I think there might be a past history there and she was using her power to stick it to him. It didn’t feel like it was coming from her professional point of view.

I think the fact her contestant was in 4th place proves I’m not alone in thinking this!

I love Chritina as a singer, but hate her on the show. She looks terrible and seems to be very unprofessional to her co-host and the other singers. DIVAMUSGO

I had such a moment of pure joy when I read the part about Christina quitting The Voice! Now I have fallen back to earth…..and can only hope it eventually really IS true!

  • KQuigley

Sometimes I wonder if her treatment of Tony was to put distance between them. She was so happy to see him once she realized who he was, that I wonder if she did it so as not to have people say the contest was “fixed” because she knew him and he was a former mouseketeer. Justin Timberlake has his own studio — maybe he’ll give him a record deal.

i am so amazed at the negative press that Christina gets for simply saying what she thinks, and calling people on their behavior. The song choice was clearly problematic, and I support her in feeling it was derogatory towards women. All the coaches are divas and in love with themselves. They are actually quite proud of this it seems to me. So why the double standard. They all beat their chests saying I am the best, most important. So she isn’t nice! So what! Is anyone allowed to speak the truth in this show, or is it about niceness?

  • stormy

Dear Denbth: no, for me the show is about being a professional and helping the contestants make their dreams come true. It’s about mentoring them and giving constructive criticism so they make the right choices and win!

IMO Adam, Cee Lo and Blake did that and if they didn’t like a song, they’d say something like “I don’t believe the song was right for you but you’re a good singer. I look forward to seeing what you do with the next song.” or “I just wasn’t feeling it” or “it was too pitchy at times but I liked when you sang the last half of the song.” etc. There were no intentional jabs to make them look like fools.

Christina’s complaint about 99 Problems could also apply to “Hit Me Baby One More Time”…that could also be considered demeaning to women. Why didn’t she say the same thing about it? She said that to Tony at that point in time to demean him in the eyes of the voters so her contestant would win…that’s my problem with it. It was not constructive and very unprofessional.

Plus, I’m just sick of her making it all about her instead of the contestant…Adam, Cee Lo and Blake do not do that!

i wish she will quit. worst judge/mentor so far

I agree that Christina Aguilera’s attitude towards Tony Lucca was off-putitng but it’s stupid to say that she should quit or be fired from The Voice. The show would not be the same if any of the coaches were to leave.

I find it really dumb that some people are not going to watch The Voice anymore JUST because of Christina. Get over yourselves people! No one is a saint so stop pretending to be one.

If she leaves, I guarantee you that the rating won’t be the same. Love her or hate her, she gets the show a lot of rating (either from her fans and her haters) Her fans will watch her every week and her haters will watch the show just to hear her brutal comments and the drama. This is the reason why she gets paid double the amount of the other coaches

  • Morning2024

I am so tired of watching her wear oitfits that are so sleezy and make her look so bad, yet she acts as if it makes her look sexy. WRONG!! She just looks stupid and talks trashy!! Wish she would leave!!! Please just leave!!!
