Christina Aguilera Can’t Remember Costars’ Names?
Christina Aguilera did NOT struggle to remember the names of her costars on the set of her new movie, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
“Xtina’s Name Shame,” reads a headline in this week’s Star, which alleges Aguilera found it difficult to remember the names of her costars on the set of her film Life of the Party. A so-called “source” tells the outlet that Aguilera was “determined to prove she’s not a nightmare to work with” by going out of her way to befriend the cast and crew, but despite her good intentions she couldn’t remember any of their names.
With the exceptions of Melissa McCarthy and Julie Bowen, contends the publication’s insider, “She’s constantly getting other people wrong. She’s really making an effort, but it seems the harder she tries, the less she can remember.” “People have stopped correcting her for fear of embarrassing her,” adds the supposed source.
Gossip Cop look into the claim, and we’re assured by a source close to Aguilera that she did not having a problem remember cast and crew members’ names. Our impeccable insider says the tabloid’s story is simply “not true.” Sadly, we are not surprised by Star’s fabricated report. In 2015, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely alleging Aguilera was a diva on the “Nashville” set. Much like that tall-tale, this latest claim is equally untrue.
