Christina Aguilera Fined For Being Late On The Voice?

“Christina Aguilera’s diva behavior starts before the ‘Dirrty’ singer even arrives on the set of ‘The Voice,’” begins a piece from RadarOnline, regurgitating a recent tale from its esteemed sister publication, Star.

A so-called “source” for the webloid says Aguilera is “consistently about two hours late,” noting that “for season three this has got to stop.”

The site further claims that show executives “have been fining Christina an undisclosed amount when she arrives late and may even raise the fee for next season if the diva behavior continues.”

The same alleged insider explains, “Whatever her fine is now doesn’t bother her,” adding, “Higher-ups on the show want to raise it to a number that does bother her so she actually arrives on time.”

Right.

There’s just one small problem with this story.

As Gossip Cop has continually pointed out every time RadarOnline and Star run a piece claiming Aguilera is a nasty diva on the music competition: If she’s so awful, why doesn’t NBC just fire her?

If Aguilera is really causing trouble on the show — so much so that the network has to fine her — why was she asked back for seasons two and three?

It just doesn’t make sense.

NONE of these claims is true.

A source close to Aguilera calls the story “totally false,” telling Gossip Cop, “It is a live show and she has never missed it. Coaches are free to arrive at anytime as long as they make the live shows.”

And a spokesperson for “The Voice” corroborates, “There is no truth to the report.”

Once again, RadarOnline’s reporting is not “fine.”

    Why would they bring her back if she really was acting this way? It goes to show how desperate the press is to slam her isn’t it.     You can’t be late for LIVE television or it would be obvious to the public. She wouldn’t have time to be in complete make-up/hair/wardrobe, and especially wouldn’t be able to pull of the amazing performances she does. There is no way this is true! Do you people believe everything you read? Do you honestly think that bloggers really only write the truth??

    I mean people were actually wanted to call children’s aide because of that story about her son Max last year. I mean really, these types of organizations need a little bit more than just the word of tabloid. Especially when it’s someone who she herself had an abusive parent.

    Then there’s Tony Lucca, noone ever thought that maybe Tony was a thin-skinned whiner who got butthurt because “oh someone said something bad about me.” No they all pounce on Christina, he it’s not her fault he can’t take criticsim. I think he just did that so that he could get a sympathy vote because he was clearly the weakest of the four finalists. But no people gotta come down on Christina, why? Because are stupid enough to believe stories like this.

    For the record, all Tony Luca every said or did about Xtina’s critiques was shrug it off. He isn’t the one who made issue out of it, his fans were. Get your story straight because what you are doing is just as bad as what this “news source” is doing by putting out false information.

    Moving on. Before you call people stupid, you should really learn to edit your own ramblings: “But no people gotta come down on Christina, why? Because are stupid enough to believe stories like this.” What???? People aren’t going to go down on Cristina?

    That last part cracked me up. Noones going down on her? Well I’m sure her boyfriend is “going down on her” but I’ m just saying that people are ready to draw and quarter her over this and it’s just getting ridiculous. Look at it from another perspective that’s what I’m trying to say rather than immediately assuming that she’s the wicked witch and anybody who she says boo too is well you know.
