X17Online has a truly laughable track record when it comes to Lindsay Lohan‘s supposed partners, but the BIGGEST chuckle of all might come from the site’s new “exclusive” about one of Lohan’s actual exes – Samantha Ronson.

The outlet cites a “source” as saying that Ronson and Christina Aguilera “are taking their friendship to the next level.”

Yes, X17Online alleges that Ronson is Aguilera’s “rebound” following the pop star’s just-announced split from husband Jordan Bratman.

Um… what?

“The two have been inseparable” ever since they went to Cabo together, claims X17Online’s source, who also says that their alleged “relationship” is different than the one between Ronson and Lohan “because Christina doesn’t create the kind of drama that Lindsay did.”

Gossip Cop sees one more difference.

The romantic coupling of Ronson and Lohan was actually real, while the rumored relationship between Ronson and Aguilera is a big, steaming pile of wrong.

A source close to Aguilera tells Gossip Cop the story is “totally false” and “too funny.”

The newly single Aguilera and Ronson “have been friends for a while. That is it.”

Once again, X17Online proves itself to be one of the best humor sites out there, though not intentionally.

    I totally LMAO when I read that one. I think if Christina was going to move on to woman she’d pick someone better looking just for starters. Christina has mentioned before that she finds woman attractive. Samantha dosen’t fit that profile. lol I think Christina isn’t switching to woman anytime soon.

    Wait a minute, this website mocks X17Online for citing a “source” as the basis for thieir story, but then this website cites a “source” close to Christina Aguilera. Looks to me like you’re both using the same kind of “sources”. Secondly, whoever your “source” is that is supposedly close to Christina Aguilera; do you really think that person would confirm something to the press that Christina Aguila has not already confirmed to the press, whether it is true or not? The way I see it, anybody close to Aguilera is going to be the LEAST reliable source of all because they don’t want to betray Aguilera.
