Christina Aguilera Did NOT Hit Her Son

Christina Aguilera is the subject of an ugly and 100% false rumor that she gave her son a black eye.

MediaTakeOut speculates that the singer might be guilty of “child abuse” because her son, Max, was photographed with a bruised face.

“Normally we would just chalk this up to a CLUMSY KID,” declares the site, “but the word on the street is that Christina has a DRINKING PROBLEM… so who knows WHAT could have happened.”

As is so often the case, MTO is the one with no clue about what happened, or, in this case, any consideration for a good and loving mom’s reputation.

It turns out that 3-year-old Max was chasing after some squirrels while at the park with his nanny when he fell.

A friend of Aguilera tells Gossip Cop that Max loves to run around, especially in the park. The infuriated friend says, “As everyone knows, kids fall, and to insinuate anything else is absolutely disgusting.”

After the slip, Max went immediately to the doctor, where he was checked out.

Aguilera and her son are currently on a long-planned two-week vacation together.

To recap, her kid had a run-of-the-mill, very minor accident, and MediaTakeOut decided to use it as an excuse to imply that Aguilera’s a drunken child abuser — just plain awful.

Well, Aguilera’s lawyer, Eric Greenspan, is not just sitting around.

In a letter obtained by Gossip Cop, Aguilera’s attorney lashes out: “Our office represents Christina Aguilera and we have reviewed your post where you implied that our client may have been guilty of child abuse because her son had bruises under his eyes… Christina is a wonderful mother and was not present in the park when Max fell and hurt himself. To imply that she had something to do with this incident, without any investigation on your part whatsoever, is reckless and unconscionable.”

Not ruling out legal action, Greenspan adds, “We reserve all our client’s legal and equitable remedies for this reputable disparagement of our client’s character,” and ends his missive by admonishing MediaTakeOut, “HAVE YOU NO SHAME!!!!!!!!”

Normally I’d just say it’s another stupid rumor, but to make up something like this is utterly disgusting when it involves a parent and child. To insinuate something like this is just so nasty…

I wish she would sue, these places just continue to get away with what they say.. making baseless accusations not just about her but other celebs as well.

What is MediaTakeOut? I don’t even know what it is. Somebody needs to do something about these tabloids or bloggers. Saying stuff that they don’t know what the hell they are talking about, They should be sued. Who was the stupid editor? These bloggers and tabloids are going crazy. I hope you’re kidding. It’s very clear that you have no idea just how much money this woman makes on her voice alone. You are aware that she just returned from a trip abroad where she was paid $3.4 MILLION to perform four songs for a millionaire, right? She has banked roughly $20 million on private gigs, where she’s frequently paid $1-2 million a song at private parties, over the past year alone.

Get with it, fool.

Also – her ex husband was no record executive, lmfao. He was in music marketing. She brought all the money to the family. She’s worth around $100 million. She bought the cars. She bought the $12 million Osbourne home. She bought it.

This is beyond disgusting of them to report. Especially with Christina, who has suffered child abuse from her own father as a child and has written countless songs and spoken hugely against it. This is way over the limit.

I am not a fan of Christina’s but making up rumors about abuse is really crossing the line. This is damaging to the child and they should not poison the relationship btw a mother and her son.

She is a bigger person than I am because I would be suing the holy crap out of them. I have a son close to his age and his legs are covered in scrapes and bruises. Toddlers get banged up, especially boys. Get over it people. That doesn’t mean the kid is getting beaten.
