This is so obviously bullshit. First of all, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears aren’t even enemies. They started out as friends. Then, after they both became super popular between 1999 and 2003, the media stirred up several false, overblown stories about them not liking each other, and fans of both singers started a fan-war between them that has lasted over a decade. We all know how the media loves to stir up and even exaggerate drama between female stars- just like with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Britney and Christina did have a personal, private falling out in 2003 and stopped talking to each other for a few years, but they started talking again in 2006, gave their apologies, and whatever bad blood there was between them ended. They aren’t as close as they used to be, but that’s not a surprise. As people grow older and their lives change, it’s common for friends to grow apart. Both of them are older now and have experienced marriage, changing careers, motherhood, and divorce since then. But they’re not enemies. They both have complimented each other, Christina has spoken fondly of the good times they had together with a smile on her face, and they’ve even tweeted and bought gifts for each others sons.

Of course the media and anonymous desperate, immature ‘sources’ would see Christina’s career on The Voice and Britney’s career on X-factor as an opportunity to fabricate drama between them and reignite the fan-war. How predictable.
