Christina Aguilera and Boyfriend Arrested

Christina Aguilera was arrested with her boyfriend Matthew Rutler early this morning in West Hollywood, Gossip Cop confirms.

The singer was charged with a misdemeanor for public intoxication.

Rutler was busted for allegedly driving under the influence.

They were taken into custody at around 2:45 a.m. and booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff substation.

Law enforcement officials say Aguilera was “extremely intoxicated” and “was not capable of taking care of herself.”

The singer was released at 7:30 a.m., when she passed a sobriety test. Rutler is in the process of posting bail right now, which is $5,000.

The Sheriff Department’s said that they have “no intent to prosecute” Aguilera.

    Watcher, she is on a downward spiral, but do you know anyone who doesn’t go a little kookoo crazy when dealing with the breakup of a marriage? Especially when the whole world is watching and criticizing. She’s allowed to go out and drink. That’s her right as a person, for crying out loud. She wasn’t arrested, she was hauled in and left to sober up, as she did nothing wrong.

    For any person who’s looking in to someone know’s that these are signs of “Alcoholism”( stumbling on stage, being drunk at parties, the failure of her most recent album, the dismal reception of her feature film debut, a canceled tour, rumors of very inappropriate behavior at family functions and now an arrest for public drunkenness ) but for some people it doesn’t mean they’ve hit their bottom yet!! I hope and pray that “Christina Aguilera” can find out in time, that she’s heading towards this.
