I totally agree with Wntwwsl! This kind of attack journalism and hypocrisy is why I stopped watching these kind of “journalistic” shows.

Lauer just went down a couple more pegs in my estimation. That was a very bullying interview. I sat here wondering if he is friends with her ex or was he projecting his own nasty divorce experiences with HIS ex on to this poor lady. I don’t know how much plainer she could have been in explaining it’s her ex that is keeping all this alive in the press. He is the only one I’ve seen on any shows running his mouth about their private business. Matt should get HIM on the show and ask HIM those questions. I felt sorry for Ms. Brinkley.

I find it interesting that there were absolutely NO tears when she “broke down.” I watched it live and immediately was like “why is she fake crying?” I wouldn’t doubt that she’s been through a lot with this whole situation, especially if her ex truly has narcissistic personality disorder, but come on, if you’re not really crying, you don’t need to pretend you are just to get more sympathy. Of course, the explanation could be if the plastic surgeons removed or damaged her tear ducts…
