WATCH: Christian Stoinev and Dog Scooby’s Incredible Performance on AGT
Christian Stoinev and his dog Scooby lifted spirits on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent” with an unbelievable quarterfinal performance.
As one of the 12 acts to perform, Stoinev did a strength routine in which he balanced his tiny Chihuahua high in the air on his feet, using only his hand for support.
And no, that description doesn’t even come close to doing the act justice.
After a standing ovation from all four judges,” Mel B said, “Can I just say, what an entertained night we have had! And it’s all about your dog. Wow.” “That was brilliant,” she went on. “I didn’t want that to stop.”
Heidi Klum told Stoinev, “Honestly, this is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. One of my favorite acts of the night.” “I love Scooby, and you’re not too shabby there without the shirt,” she added to the topless contestant.
Howard Stern declared, “This, hands down, is my favorite act of the night. I love it. I can’t believe the level of expertise.” “The two of you together are dynmaic, magical, you make us feel good,” he continued. “I love you.”
And given that many of the other acts also received partial standing ovations, Howie Mandel, who’s been on the show for five years, exclaimed, “This is by far the best night of television ‘AGT’ has ever had, and the hardest night America’s gonna have to vote.”
It will most certainly be rough tomorrow when 7 of the 12 are eliminated, as only 5 can join the other semifinalists.
