Chrissy Teigen Takes on “Creepy” Cell Phone Pictures Taken Without Permission

Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter on Saturday to make a case against invasive pictures, and wound up getting into a heated debate on the subject. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model started by tweeting, “I don’t wanna make a thing about it but it should prob be illegal to take anyone’s picture without their permission. It’s just creepy.”

“And I don’t mean me or celebrities. Just in general. It’s kind of weird. What if I just walked up and down the beach taking pics of ppl,” she asked, adding, “Can I film or take pics of random people whenever I want? That, is weird to me.”

When the backlash against her comments began, Teigen wrote, “This is why I no longer try to have intelligent conversation on twitter.” But it didn’t end there:
