Chris Stapleton Performs “Nobody To Blame” On ‘SNL’ – WATCH VIDEO
Chris Stapleton sang “Nobody To Blame” on this week’s “SNL.” For his first song, Stapleton performed “Parachute,” also off his new hit album Traveller. See the video below of Stapleton’s performance of “Nobody To Blame” on “Saturday Night Live.”
“Nobody To Blame” made it on to the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as on to its Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. The songs tells the story of man whose marriage has fallen apart, with lyrics about his wife tearing their wedding picture in half, throwing his clothes onto the yard, and changing the locks. All the while, the subject of the song notes that he’s got “noboby to blame, but me.” In real life, however, Stapleton is happily married and has two children.
As Gossip Cop noted before, this marks Stapleton’s debut on “Saturday Night Live” as the musical guest. The country music singer and songwriter’s appearance comes just a week before he kicks off a four-month tour that will take him across the U.S. and throughout Europe. Stapleton, who recently won a handful of CMA Awards, was nominated in December for four Grammys, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album.
