Chris Soules Joins Worst Cooks In America After Claiming He Wanted Farm Life
Chris Soules is again trying to extend his 15 minutes of fame with yet another reality competition. The reigning “Bachelor” will be on Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America.”
As Gossip Cop has reported, Soules’ season of “The Bachelor” finished taping last November, and the finale aired in March. He immediately went on to do “Dancing with the Stars,” and was eliminated from the show in May. Now Entertainment Weekly reports Soules has already started filming “Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition.”
According to the outlet, the first-ever star-focused installment of the popular competition will have “kitchen-challenged celebrities” JWoww, Jaleel White, Barry Williams, Kendra Wilkinson, Dean Cain, and Ellen Cleghorne fighting to be the best worst cook. The winner will receive a $50,000 prize for the charity of his or her choice. Hosted by Rachael Ray and Anne Burrell, the series will premiere in the fall.
Soules is actually in unsurprising company. Both White and Kendra Wilkinson previously competed on “Dancing with the Stars,” too. But Soules’ decision to join a third reality series comes after he spent his entire “Bachelor” season insisting he wanted a quiet life on his farm in Iowa. Even throughout “DWTS” and after, Soules vowed to get back to his normal lifestyle.
As Gossip Cop reported, the so-called “Prince Farming” and his “Bachelor” fiancée Whitney Bischoff called off their engagement less than two weeks ago. It increasingly seems the fame bug might be to blame, at least in part. What do you think of Soules joining “Worst Cooks in America”?
