Chris Soules And Whitney Bischoff Call Off Engagement Two Months After ‘Bachelor’ Finale
Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have called off their engagement. The pair announced the split in a statement on Thursday, saying they “mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement.” The statement continued, “They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them during this journey.”
Soules and Bischoff have not personally commented via their social media pages about the split, but “Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss tweeted, “Sad news to report: @souleschris and @whitbisch are no longer engaged.” While the “Bachelor” finale only aired in March, the couple was actually engaged since November.
It’s not clear what led to them calling it quits, even though it’s been falsely rumored for months that Soules was cheating on Bischoff with his “Dancing With The Stars” partner Witney Carson. As Gossip Cop repeatedly reported, a trusted source close to the Iowa farmer told us Soules was in no way romantically involved with Carson during the dance competition.
It seems the two had differing ideas about the future, with Bischoff more readily wanting to head to Iowa while the farmer was enjoying life in L.A. Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Soules about his recent split from Bischoff, and will continue to have updates.
