Chris Pratt & Ariana Grande Play Toys That Come To Life In Wild SNL Sketch (VIDEO)
A wish for a boy named Danny (Kyle Mooney) comes true when he blows out a birthday candle, and his toys come to life in a wild “Saturday Night Live” sketch.
In the bit, “SNL” Chris Pratt and Taran Killam play two of Danny’s favorite toys, but unlike Toy Story, these two characters don’t know anything about the real world. “I thought this would be like a Woody and Buzz Lightyear thing…,” said Danny, “but you guys don’t know anything!” The former toys quickly discover they like (birthday) cake.
After Danny’s sister comes in to wish him “Happy Birthday,” The sword-wielding duo learn that they also like touching themselves. “This is good,” Killam’s character notes as he pats his crotch. “Good like cake, but different good.”
Danny’s She-Ra action figure, played by “SNL” musical guest Ariana Grande, comes to life as well. She also likes touching herself and smashing the boy’s home to pieces. When Danny’s mom comes out to see what is happening, the male toys start giving her a lot of attention. “Oh my sweet meats,” she said. “Danny you may have blown out the candle, but momma’s wish done come true.” She then invites all three of the actions figures to see her hot tub. It’s a nice mix of funny and creepy all at once.
