Chris Pine Sings School Closings

Chris Pine sang about some real schools that are closed due to Winter Storm Jonas on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Watch the funny video below!

Set to the tune of “Let It Snow,” Pine belted out a list of East Coast schools that are shut down on Tuesday due to the inclement weather. Some of the actual high schools and middle schools that are closed are located in New Jersey, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. But why find out about it from the news, when Pine can tell you via song?

Pine appeared on the late-night talk show to promote his new movie The Finest Hours, which tells the real-life story of a Coast Guard rescue off the coast of Cape Cod during a 1952 blizzard. Presumably, many schools were closed during that time, too. The actor also spoke a bit about his role in the upcoming superhero blockbuster Wonder Woman, revealing that he plays lead actress Gal Gadot’s boyfriend in the film.

As Gossip Cop reported, however, Pine has NOT been “hitting on” Gadot during filming, despite a recent tabloid report claiming the actor was making “unwarranted advances” towards her on set. Regardless, she’d probably find his song pretty amusing. Watch Pine sing about school closures to the tune of “Let It Snow” in the funny “Jimmy Kimmel Live” segment below!
