Chris Pine Admits He’s Single, Serenades Fan With Frank Sinatra Song (VIDEO)
Chris Pine fans have something to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. The actor revealed he’s a “single man” on Wednesday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show.” But that’s not all. During his appearance, Pine also took a moment to serenade one lucky audience member, proving the Into The Woods star is a real-life Prince Charming.
After Pine discussed singing Frank Sinatra to audition for the role of Prince Charming in Into The Woods, DeGeneres couldn’t help but ask him about his relationship status. “You are handsome. You sing. Are you single?” she asked. Pine replied, “Oh man, I am a single man.” DeGeneres noted that she was “just putting it out there” before she shared a shirtless photo of Pine on a large screen behind them. “So, you work out a lot, too?” she pressed. But Pine remained modest. “Ellen, that’s a lot of fake tanning,” he explained. “For the movies you gotta look healthy.”
After the comedian went on to confirm that Pine’s fans call themselves “Pine Nuts,” the actor asked, “Do you have a Pine Nut here?” DeGeneres then invited Eileen Lee onto the stage. “Hey, Eileen!” she said. “Come say hello to Prince Charming here.” Lee was quick to gush about how tall and beautiful Pine is before DeGeneres reminded her that he sings too. Lee then requested that Pine sing her some Frank Sinatra. Watch Pine’s rendition of Sinatra’s “Summer Wind” below, and tell us what you think!
